This album was a great way for A Boogie to prepare us for the new year, as he gets set to release more projects! It might no mean much short term, but long term when an artist pays homage to history it shows how they can learn from the past to evolve their own music. However the most impressive part in my opinion is the track I mentioned above ‘Look Back At It’, very subtly placed Boogie has a Michael Jackson sample in the song. He does end the Project with his track from ‘International Artist’ featuring NAV ‘Pull Up’. Among all the features tracks like ‘Look Back At It’, ‘Savage’ & ‘The Reaper’ allow Boogie to start flowing again on his own, really highlighting his growth as an artist. This was a perfect tag team and I hope to see these two team up more often. Easily one of the Top 5 collabs of 2018, this track offers feels, melodies and creative genius. ‘Demons and Angels’ featuring Juice WRLD is my favorite tune on this project easily. Even though 6ix9ine has been criticized for his screaming on songs, it was very mild on this tune and sounded more developed than a lot of his other tracks. Addressing all of the doubters with their work, this track was greatly executed, A Boogie brought lyrics and a perfect melody on this track. One of the most stand out tracks is ‘Swervin’ featuring 6ix9ine, with a ton of controversy around 6 this track was on the radar before the release. The choruses and hooks continue to be extra catchy, but the real impressive part of this album is how well A Boogie sounds with others and alone. These 3 tracks are perfect to kick off this album because they offer different vibes that are perfect for Boogie to flex his vocal melodies to. Thankfully Boogie grasps your attention from the get go, with his tracks ‘Voices In My Head’, ‘Beasty’ & ‘I Did It’. Looking forward to this release I did’t really know what to expect, all I knew was that my expectations were really high. With a star studded roster, this album automatically invites high expectations. A Boogies hosts 13 features on this project in 6ix9ine, Tyga, Offset, Juice WRLD, Queen Naija, Young Thug, Don Q, Trap Manny, Lil Quee, Quando Rondo, Lil Durk, PnB Rock & NAV. Releasing this new project he gives us 20 tracks to vibe with.

With a successful year, it was about time for A Boogie to throw an exclamation point on the end of the year. Linking up with Don Q & 50 Cent he also held New York’s anthem with their single ‘ Yeah Yeah‘.
